THE PROJECT

A city is never seen only once.

The Moving Studio is a long-term artistic project by Ehab Omaro exploring how places are transformed through observation, memory, colour and emotion.

Each chapter begins with encounters: streets, architecture, people, fragments and atmosphere. These are developed through painting, drawing, visual research and filmed documentation—not as literal records, but as new versions of a place shaped by experience.

The project is being developed gradually alongside Ehab’s existing artistic and professional practice. It is currently in a research and development phase, establishing its artistic language, working method and future cultural partnerships.

CHAPTER 01 · RIYADH

The City, Twice

The first studies begin in Riyadh. Old streets and architectural fragments move through drawing and paint, shifting from visible structures into layered colour and emotional space.

This first work is still unfolding. Its early stage is documented as part of the research: the moment before details settle, while the city is only beginning to appear.
